    Schillingā€™s Dwarf Holly is a compact, low growing and naturally mounding shrub. This evergreen has small, dark green leaves that have a reddish cast when they are young. Clusters of small white flowers appear on the plant each spring but they tend to not be very showy. Schillingā€™s Dwarf Holly grows well in sun or light shade and in dry or wet soils. Dwarf Schillingā€™s can reach a height and width of 4 to 6 feet but are easily maintained at smaller sizes with infrequent pruning. Due to its slow growth rate, it may require a little patience to get it to the size you would like. Schillingā€™s Dwarf Holly is drought and salt tolerant, making it ideal for seaside plantings. It makes a great choice for low, formal hedges, foundation plantings or as a tall ground cover. Schillingā€™s Dwarf low maintenance requirements make it an ideal choice for residential landscapes.
